Anticipation is Keeping me Waiting...

You know the old Carly Simon song ...
The one that later on became identified with a Heinz ketchup commercial.

"Anticipation, Anticipation
Is making me late
Is keeping me waiting..."

Good things come to those who wait it is always said. I think I know know how it feels to be a child waiting for Christmas; the sense of excitement, surprise, and anticipation for all the things that come with the holidays. When we are young, our anticipation revolves around new toys, bright wrapping papers, and snowy days filled with hot chocolate and cookies.

When we are older it changes from the pleasantries of our youth to the things we appreciate as adults. We might adore the fresh smell of orange, boughs of evergreen, and spicy cloves as they decorate our homes in the winter. We appreciate and feel the beauty of a Christmas tree that shimmers with warm light and vintage ornaments with our family close around it. We feel satisfaction for the holiday traditions of our family heritage. It is a time for reflection and for cherishing the ones we love now and remembering the ones we have lost.

You can relive those days of childlike wonder. Rekindle the surprise and satisfaction of a gift well given. That is what the Etsy sellers on Heart Unto Others Team strive for. It is their wish to share their artistic talents with others. You can purchase a one of a kind gift that has been made through hundreds of hours of trial, error, experimentation, and moments of pure joy! Begin a new tradition or revive an old one.
